Travelling with a dog you will have checked all the vaccination stuff BUT make sure to have the very latest "passport" (with plastified chip info area). Otherwise you need to go to local vet #ripoff
Great out of season no need to stop in the terminal unless you want a quick Starbucks if there are delays not so fun! Free wifi is excellent and available outside too!
With the advent of 3G coverage from Orange in the North bound tunnel you can now check in under the sea :)
FREE WI-FI just wish they would give it in the lanes and on the train ;-)
Turn your lights off before you enter the train . This is to prevent the fire detecting cameras thinking your lights are a fire!
Love to travel by car in train to the UK. Well executed location
Dodgy queuing system means it can take an hour to get through customs and onto train . If you need a wee, best have one before you arrive!
Buy a coffee but take it to the lounge - cleaner and quieter than the coffee shops
Pet passport check-ins are faster than human passport control here
If you're on the 3 mobile network don't forget you can use you phone as if you were in the UK
Try a smile and see if you can get the staff to smile back, might just brighten their day :-)
Get French phone signal all the way under the sea. Didn't work other way round.
Boarding a train with a car is so awesome. Also there is cell reception in the tunnels
Don't buy regular tickets - get the frequent traveller deal and cut the cost to approx £40 each way
If you afraid of the dark dont go there ;) but from other side quite and safe ;))
Watch out for the.fish! Oh, and the French telephone signal lasts till the UK portal
Avoid toilets at any cost. But it's the fastest way to cross the channel. Will be back soon!
There is a "pets area" but it is feeble compared to the UK side.
Great value on wine , don't try to buy cigarettes, don't know why, but sooo expensive .
free wi fi and was even put on an early crossing sowe di not have to hang around
Free wifi when you are queuing!
€65-70 for 200 cigarettes and currently 6 bottles of Blossom Hill for €13
Very quick painless crossing.
You get a good shake.
Great and fast travel
Free wifi , good deals on alcohol
Best way to travel! Way easier than the ferry .
Easiest way to get to the continent
There's actually a signal down here!!
Still can't run a reliable service. Rolling stock isn't maintained properly so breaks down on a seemingly daily basis.
On a bad day bring a good book & plenty of grub !
Get the flexi+ ticket to jump on any train whenever you rock up.
Orange 3G check in under the Sea :)
Always check ahead for delays!
Avoid the toilets on the train . In 19 years it has not occurred to Eurotunnel that you can either clean , service or renovate the toilets .
Try and sleep
The free wifi is so quick :)
3G (at least French) network under the sea...
Just 30 minutes away from England. The actual terminal is rather small...
Free WiFi .
Recently service has been always perturbé, delays of an hour becoming standard(((
Enroute to UK
20 minutes to cross to the other side.
Get shopping at Cite Europe before checking in as the shopping at the terminal is ridiculously expensive
Smile at the border.
Amazing!!!
Height 1.85m so go low if you have suspension
First Time for Victoria
Free no hassle wifi at last . Freight busy with long lorry tailbacks do not affect tourist traffic.
Etre patient !
If you are here via coach bus to the UK from France, there are toilets in this building. Just be one of the first passengers to join the passport queues, so you have enough time to use the toilets! - Wendy
This was a nice addition to the Eurotunnel terminal, I stop by every morning for my Cappuccino and Yoghurt with cereal! Friendly staff and fast service! - Nicholas Hall
