So great for kids! Honestly though my girlfriend and I went and had a ball. The design and layout of the place is so thoughtfully done. And the place connects to trails that go through the property.

The inside of the center was amazing! A lot of people talk about the treetop walk, which is great for kids, but the inside is what the adults loved best. So many exhibits and live animals .

Visit live animals and explore cool, hands-on exhibits to learn about the wild and vast Adirondack Mountains . Don't miss the meat-eating plants and the Pines play area .

Great nature center with trails and a really rather interesting museum . Tons of exhibits and interactive activities. And of course, the river otters !

Flavorfest is such a cool event in August! Lots of local foods, beer and wine to sample, as well as activities and animals for the kids.

Make sure you make it outside to the trails . Their trails are by far the best. Straight up bomb diggity.

Raining during your vacation? Head down to the Wild Center. The museum is beautiful. The otters are adorable. Learn about the flora and fauna of the ADK.

Definitely walk the trails and visit the otters . On Thursdays they have a farmer's market from 11-3

The new sky walk is really cool and a lot of fun, especially for young kids.

Grab lunch outside on a sunny day! Kids can check out turtles and fish in the pond .

Tip: Bring insect repellent. We got mosquito bites as souvenirs.
