Nice square ! There are near shops like Bershka, Zara, Pull & Bear ! Also this place is near at the bus station !

Eleftherias (Freedom) Square is the main square of Heraklion, near the Archaeological Museum , the Astoria Hotel , the Prefecture and the Gate of Saint George.

There is always something going on here, don't miss it. It might be your lucky day!

Shade and excellent view at prytaneion cafe ....worst coffee ever but everybody passes by.

Facing Astoria hotel , go down the street at the left of it, have a butter croissant at Petit Paris on the corner

The center of town ..meeting point,coffee ,banks and offices of companies

Excellent place to relax .

It‘s a little bit dirty as for me for the main square .

Μια απο τις πιο ωραίες πλατείες. Το μεταμοντέρνο ύφος της είναι αμφιλεγόμενο.

Η πλατεία χρειάζεται αναμόρφωση άμεσα. Αδικείται πολύ με τις ατέλειωτες πλάκες μαρμάρου.

Το κεντρικότερο σημείο της πόλης δίχως όμως να είναι και το πιο πολυσύχναστο. Προσοχή όταν βρέχει, γλιστράει κάτω...
