Well , the place has changed from the pictures shown on here. Our first time here and it's nice. It's also not too expensive . Great licenced restaurant . Rooms are nice. It's not a hostel , it's a hotel
Loved the roof top bar and beach feel to our room which over looked the pool. Described as a glam packers Rambutan packs a punch for any guest looking for style and value.
Formerly a hostel , now a hotel . Nice “insta” worthy place but the servicelevel is not yet what it needs to be. Experienced waiting times for food, room not ready at check-in and inexperienced staff .

Wait until the bbq pit opens at 6pm. Well worth the wait.

Surprised me! Chef has quite a palate. Entrees look to outperform mains. Adventurous proteins, like goat, pheasant and eel, all well handled. Morton Bay bugs scrub up best. Good wine list too. - Jackie McMillan
