Friday night after work the Dixon St Night Markets (Chinatown Night Markets) is a hustle-bustle of quirky electronic gifts and the closest you'll get to authentic street food from China. Starts at 5pm

Takoyaki is soso, Wagyu beef (5 for $10), custard puff (3 for $1) and Dim sum are also good. Roti canai is the most over-priced item ever - $5.80 for a plan one. Some food items are really expensive .

Mamak 's roti canai and chicken satay , Lamb & Cumin 's lamb and cumin skewers . All amazing.

I had to do three walk arounds to find something that looked palatable. Not much variety or choice. I had Mamak’s roti canai and chicken satay . They were both above average but not mind blowing.

Lots of fingerfood and small souvenir goods available

Roti and atmosphere late at night. Loved the crowd.

Not a very big market but there you can grab a Mamak roti canai :-)

Long waiting lines . Even if you get there early, they take forever to start up.

Pretty much same boring stands selling same stuffs.but siumai stick is a must try.dnt forget the satay sauce
