Great ambient, servers and food! Must go if you are in Oberammergau! Make reservations though, otherwise the wait could be long to get a table!
Don't go for the salmon dish if hungry. If REALLY hungry, try the knuckle of pork . Good stuff, PLENTY of it. As everywhere else in the town , beer selection is small here, but try their own brew.
This place is just out of this world. Been there with group of people. Got every possible dish and all of them were so perfect we didnt wanna leave. Waiter was so professional and hotel is beautiful!
Best Bavarian restaurant in town , with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Try the bread soup (almost a meal in itself). Also, the "lighter fare" menu still offers a very hearty meal . Hard to go wrong.
Beer is great, cheese noodle is very delicious. Pork knuckle is well made. A really nice place indeed.
Go for the pork knuckle - probably the best food I've eaten in Germany! It's enormous but you won't regret it.
The pork knuckle , kids sausage meal, and pork steaks were amazing. Bonus=home brew is great.
