Canyonlands National Park is a national park Moab located in United States.
2282 Resource Blvd (Hwy 191) Moab , UT 84532 United States
Underrated National Park that will overwhelm you with its expansiveness. Four distinct areas make up the park with Island in the Sky being the most visited and the Maze being the most remote. Amazing
So many views and hikes . I only visited a third of the park - the isle of sky. Definitely magical. Stay for the sunset .
Many great hikes , but do not underestimate your need for lots of water . Not a place you want to get stuck thirsty. Enjoy the geology lesson all around you.
Island in the Sky is the most popular district in Canyonlands . It's 100 miles from Island in the Sky visitor center to the Needles district visitor center (need to drive through Moab)
One of nations greatest treasures. This is truly the " American Outback". Labrynth B campsite is stunning on the Colorado river .
Huge and underrated national park with many corners to explore. Make sure you get to the Needles section, it is well worth the drive and less crowded
Island in the Sky views only need a few hours by car. Consider ATV tours if you want to experience this park .
Amazing place but no taps in the loos. Take wet wipes or you'll feel gross all day!
Check out the hike to Mesa arch for the sunrise. Fairly easy trail and well worth the view .
Seriously, no one comes to Moab to hang indoors. Better than the Grand Canyon , more intimate . Go to Grand View Point & follow a little trail to the right-1/2 mile later & you'll be richly rewarded!
3 bigger areas. Coming in from Moab is a bit of a lame area.

Mesa Arch - easy trail and great views
Over an hour traffic backup to get in at 11 am on a random Saturday in May. Get there early
This park has some of the most scenic canyons in Utah -- several classic John Ford Wild West films have been shot in Moab as a result.
No one here in December and the dusting of snow make for great scenery.
Definitely a park in the top 10!
Bring lots of water and salty snacks .
A dream come true journey for me here. Breathetakingly beautiful.

Amazing trail that takes you to some cliff ruins that you’ll pretty much have to yourself. Nice step back into history and to think about the people who have called this beautiful place home. - eric bornemann
