Our service and food were both excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights around Lake Lure. It was our first time here, and we will definitely return when we are in the area.
Delicious Italian. Lasagna still made 3x a week by 74-yr old owner whom learned recipe from her Grandma. Meatballs great. Sweet potato fries w/piña colada caramel sauce are a MUST.
Nice, comfortable place with an interesting menu. My wife and I both got the local trout - we loved it. Worth a visit.

Worse experience ever! Went with a group of 5 & were charged the extra tip for groups of 6+. While owner hid in the back, the so called manger would not refund their mistake. Awful business practices.

Admission is $8/ adult, which is pretty steep for a small beach. Parking is also very hard to come by. I ended up parking (maybe illegally?) at the resort across the street. - Chris Gibson
