Try the carrot cake (Rüblitorte). It's a typical swiss cake and it's tasty. I also recommend the tête de moine cheese if you wanna try something else that's tasty and typical ;)
If you travel to Switzerland on a budget like I did, than your best option to eat well and save money is to shop at Migros. They good variety of produce and their yogurt is delicious, buy the coconut !
