A ticket doesn't guarantee you a seat on the train . You have to purchase a separate reservation to reserve a seat. Otherwise you may end up standing the entire trip.

Desperately needs major renovation and refurbishment, new waiting area for the passengers, wheelchair accessibility , etc.

Make sure you have plenty of money when travelling by train and beware of fast, excellerated and regular (travellers) trains ! There's a difference in commodity and price!

They have just one line selling international tickets and it is usually crowded . Come earlier if you do not want to miss your train waiting in the queue. Credit cards are accepted.

Do not ever take a ride from the taxies which are right in front the main train station they will rip you off. If you need a taxi , take the ones which are on the far right towards the post office .

We zaten op de 5e verdieping. Lift ging maar tot de 4e en we hadden geen ramen . We moesten voor dit hok, een zogenaamde economy room 1100 kuna betalen. Belachelijk! Dat was het echt niet waard!
