One of the most stunningly beautiful riverside pubs you'll ever visit. Grab a spot on the garden on a sunny day, or grab a cozy corner inside in the winter. Amazing food as well . Love this place!
Lovely setting at the pub and the food is delicious; give the Salmon Supreme, Duck Salad or Goats Cheese and Fig Pizza a go! Gotta have it with a side of sweet potato fries :D
Nice place. Definetly have to come back when it is sunny. Just have to remember if i want to order food, i have to eat before, because to get service you have to wate 15 min. But anyway fun place.
Excellent food, amazing location and decent service. If you sit by the river , make sure you watch out for the ducks walking along the wall. They're keen to beg for and steal food!
Something for all seasons: a cosy fire in the winter, alongside a stylish & well stocked bar ; for the summer: stunning views from the terrace by the river , with peacocks wandering amongst the tables.
Nice by the river , day and night! Nice food, friendly staff , warm atmosphere
Cosy country gastro pub with an extensive menu, just outside of Oxford. Roast beef a good option ????
No serving food outside? Why? The outside seating is just great but we could not eat there and enjoy our evening. This is really no good! ????
Nice pub around the Oxford city , with good food and amazing atmosphere
Great riverside venue. Book if it's sunny ! Great food and service
The 'Inspector Morse' pub right on the bank of the Isis (Thames) in Wolvercote. Done out beautifully about 2 years ago and well worth a visit.
Peacock is not on the menu , but it might be on your table. Literally.
Gets busy on a Sunday but they have plenty of seats inside and out and are very friendly and organised.
I cannot recommend this place enough - love it !!!! the peacock will eat your chips though !!!!
there s nice sitting by the river with glass of pilsner urquell
Lush food, but make sure you book , can get busy
the Peacock on the roof is shouting, unfortunately I don't speak peacock so I don't know what he's saying
lovely outdoors!
Skip the services on the A34 and just head here! There's a junction south of the turning you need to you can access from both directions.
For the best roast dinner you have ever had, I can highly recommend the Trout . Great friendly staff also
The natural conclusion to any walk through Port Meadow.
Very disappointing. Lovely spot, people and service, but my meal was tasteless. Had the lobster and Devin crab fishcakes and, other than the fried approach, it was like baby food.
Wholefood salad and the view !
Great Food and location- perfect on a summer evening! The specials are always a better choice food wise.
Very nice scallops and Erdinger Weissbier :)
Well worth the walk from Oxford!
Great classic burger ask for extra relish .
Lovely fish and chips .
Awesome Sunday Roast
Have a pint of the Harviestoun Old Engine Oil! A king of dark beers
Location location location
Great views !
Scentic view
Posh frocks and plum in mouths
The views , but not the food.
Only had drinks but the food looked good
Es muy buena comida y servicio
전채 요리로 나온 까망베르 치즈와 빵 , 처트니 요리가 정말 맛있었다. 밤에 갔는데, 워낙 건물도 예쁘고 근처 조망도 좋아서 낮에 가는 걸 추첞고 싶다.
The pies! The pies! It's all about the pies. Great location, ambience, and selection of drinks too though. - Roxanne Selby
Busy on Saturday afternoons. Service is okay. Desserts are amazing! - Elias Gerstmayr
Scandal was never far away from this nunnery.... Henry II met Rosalind Clifford here and she became his mistress. - Rich Plummer-Powell
