Lovely place with great interiour. Can get a little noisy at times, must be thin walls. Very friendly and helpfull people who work there and the breakfast given at Antica Roma is awesome!!!
Rather take the 20 - 30 minute bus ride and catch the subway to the Colosseum = €6.5 unlike €52 for airport shuttle from RetRome!!!

For the price of the audio guide you can bypass the line. We shared one for a total of 8€, well worth it to jump the queue and the audio guide was very helpful - Robert Atkinson
