Come on Saturday night, when the Blanco Bowling Club is open to the public. Make sure to call ahead and let them know you are coming, as they’ll need to make sure a pin-setter is on site.
Early in the morn before they are fully operational, they open one table, The Big Table. Where the ranchers sip their coffee taking ranch talk waiting for the lightest fluffiest homemade donuts in TX.
Classic "locals" place. They make their own doughnuts fresh! Try the pancakes : fluffy and big as your plate!
This place is a real throwback to the old time Texas feel and it's nice unhealthy cheap food and you could sign up to play bowling next door but don't count on it
Very good food. Great prices. Wait staff could be more friendly . Smells like smoke but it is a bowling alley after all.
Go in the morning and get a warm homemade donut . They are the best- kicks Krispy Kreme's booty.
The thing about the Bowling Alley , you don't come here for the food, service or cleanliness. You come here because it's hardly changed a bit since 1947.
Best breakfast in town . French toast and hash browns are a must!
Burger , onion rings , and coke all the way!
Get the house specialty - the bacon and Swiss omelette! - Richard Pankhurst
Just had the fresh pimento cheese sandwich on semolina bread. So good. Reminds me of the kind my grandma made for me. Delicious cookies, too. - Terri Lin Jones
The beer here is outstanding!!!! I love the Devil’s Backbone.....the pecan whiskey I had was smooth you could taste the pecan. I got to get these fine people to sale in Louisiana!! - Micah Anderson
