The only difference between regular and "King size" seems to be that you get slightly more surface area to fill and a sausage . For the sake of £1.50 stick with regular and pile the food vertically.

On a Sunday, try and get there just before 12, seems to always beat the rush and avoid queuing for food!

Make sure you arrive at Toby Carvery before 10.30am otherwise you'll be waiting for the food counter to be restocked. Not because they're overly busy, - poor kitchen management.

Had a very nice lunch here the chicken & mushroom stack very nice and i like how you have free refills on your soft drinks. Was a nice quiet afternoon and the staff were very friendly can't fault it - Jo B
