Came for the chicken and the fish stole my heart! Both are perfectly seasoned and the heat can be plentiful. Try the white meat,but if you have never experienced hot fish ... whiting sandwich is a must

The heat leaves are roughly on par with Prince 's and Hattie B's. Get a medium breast with greens, beans, and/or potato salad . Skip the Mac and Cheese , which lacks some flavor.

Get the catfish ! Crispy fried outside and tender inside. The medium is pretty spicy so order accordingly. Fried chicken wings are good too. Turnip greens are super salty and the mac is a little watery

For my first Bolton’s experience- I was not disappointed. I had the medium and when I return to Nashville i will be stepping up to the hot. It may not look like much but it is the real deal.

The dry rub is as tasty as it is hot. Get the medium or hot for best heat. If you like to visit the ER get the extra spicy

I know most people go for the spicy chicken but they make the best fried pork chop in town ! And a mean hot fish sandwich (whiting the best to me). Don't miss their baked spaghetti .

Don’t understand the hype. Will say the medium was solidly spicy . Sides were awful. Chicken tasted like grease (whole place smelled like it too). Waited 45 min for food. Overall just a bad experience.
