The beers are good and varied, including both local brews and imported. Most importantly though, the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly . This is, for me, the first place in Davis for beer .

The Davis Beer Shoppe is a great local beer bar with great beer selection and a small town feel. The back half of the taproom is a bottle shop with hundreds of options you can drink on-site or to go.

Grab a seat and relax. You only have 599 beers to go. Not knowing what you want ask for help. They will find something to fit your mood.

Amazing selection, must have huge clout with distributers because they get amazingly hard to find brews. If you don't see it, ask and it may be hiding or they will order it.

Great selection of bottled brews and draught beers from around the world. Sample one, take some home. Nice "pub " atmosphere and friendly folk . Good for you,Mike!

Henry the waiter is probably the rudest one in the world. I strongly feel ownership provides some sort of skill training in staff . They really need to come to 21st century.

Their pear cider is pretty much the best cider ever. The dark chocolate stout is amazing too.

The only place worth drinking at in Davis, amazing prices, great atmosphere, huge selection.

Love their flight of beer , 6.45 to sample 6 beers !

If you're into manly things, try the sierra Nevada oatmeal dark stout . 9% alcohol . =]
