i was fascinated by the collections and the interesting mix: ethnology, archaeology, zoology. the botanical garden is a beautiful oasis in the centre of sarajevo.
If you are into archeology, check it out. Not big, but surprisingly good collection. I also liked the ethno part.
Quite a good museum with large selection of exhibits , displayed though in quite an old fashioned "traditional" way

Nice to read about the history of the synagogue over the centuries & to see a replica of the Sarajevo Haggadah. The original is in a separate room in the national museum so you can't see it up close - Clea Romeo
