There working hours are from 7:30am, but if you reach at 7:15 they will accommodate you as well . Very good and fast service . The usual Dubai Government curtesy ????
They have a photocopier for you to take copies of your passport and visa so don't forget to bring some coinage. You need a couple of dirhams for the copier and 120 to replace your driving license
Must say for re-issuing of lost drivers' license it only took 5 min! Copy of passport plus copy of emirates ID and 110AED and wham! New card all sorted!!!
If you are here to test your car ask specifically for the test you need. The basic test is AED 120 and the comprehensive test is AED 300+.
International Driving license happens while I am typing this message!! Costs Aed 165/- only and 2 dhs. for photocopy of the UAE driving license .
Come with copies of every possible form of identification possible as they will always ask you for the one form of ID that you don't have !!!
