Codfish a braga / Bacalhau a braga is the best fish dish here. The Squid dish is also good and the octapus so and so. Big portions , friendly staff , local atmosphere.

Wonderful food! I spent 5 days in Porto and I ate at Manuel Alves every single day. You can pick anything, everything is well made. Great value ! Service is great! I can't compliment it enough.

Very friendly staff , many locals. We had the Tripas à moda for 2, which was waaaaay too much for us, but great! We paid 15 for food, drinks and one dessert .
