The view of the arrivals hall from the elevator , with its marble columns and floors, is very impressive. Passport control was a breeze and very friendly . Welcome to Dubai!

There's reclining chairs at the south end of the terminal, near gates 23-32. Great for a long layover, and the nearby water feature makes the air feel fresh too!

If you are in Terminal 3 , head to Ocean Basket restaurant ! Try calamari n line fish ) grill and with sambal chili , garlic sauce and coleslaw sauce you will not get it wrong !!

My hubby lost his wallet(which literally contains everything all credit cards, forgiven IDs ..etc ) we were almost back ????he realized wallet is gone. We got it back That's why we love this country !

Stay at the International hotel -- you don't have to leave the airport , get a visa or go through security again! Totally worth the $250 US if you are just staying a night!!!

Nowhere to charge your phone and most ppl do not speak good English. Good WiFi , nice stores and a Burger King if you do not want to spend a whole lot on food - 7 dollars on a Whopper Jr. Combo.

Best smoking lounge is near gate C23. Large, not crowded , perfect ventilation and airport ground view .

I always forget what it's like for people without egate! Picking up a (normie) friend? On average 1.5 hours wait after landing for them to get out... More during busy times.. Like now!!!!

Easy to go to each gate like A & B. In my opinion, B gate is busier than A.

Near Le Clos in terminal A are really nice chairs for a little nap if you've a long(er) stopover.

Everything here's bloody expensive . The airport hotel rooms cost more than an executive room in central London.

The freeshop is awesome! Leave space for some last minute itens :)

Be prepared for the security check queues you will face when getting off your long flight before you go to the deaprture are to transit to another flight.

Don't use the metro if you've bought alcohol at Duty free arrivals
