I used to shop here but stopped; they sell rats as food for snakes. I like rats and got quite a few as pets , but they were often sickly because they are "feeders" and.
...bought by the box from "rat mills ". They pull out the deaders and sell the rest, supporting inhumane breeders. Rats are smart as dogs and suffer as much. Petco supports this inhumane practice.
Regarding the pet adoptions , was very disappointed having driven to Davis only to find that adoptions advertised on the website didn't actually happening. No notification posted, no warning issued.
