Take the cable car or walk to the top - a long, steep walk . Watch out for the monkeys, they will steal things out of your bags & pockets & glasses off your head. The locals will retrieve it for a fee.

Excellent ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. In 2010, a huge statue of Hanuman is built near Jakhu Temple in Shimla. Great view of deodar tree jungle and jakhu is a hotshot of monkies...

Worth the walk up for the views and satisfaction! (Good views of the distant mountains though a few trees in the way)

Great place above Shimla (20' steep walk from The Ridge), beware of the monkeys, bring a stick or umbrella or something to scare them off, lots of them and sometimes aggressive!

Excellent 2.5 km hike from Christ church at 2150m to the temple at 2420m. Great views . Beware of monkeys , don't carry anything in your hands.
