I absolutely love the Spinach Empanadas here, definitely a comfort food . But you can't go wrong with any choice here-everything is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
Oh WOW, the Chicken Florentine , Chicken Pot Pie , Honey BBQ Pulled Pork , and SW Black Bean Empanadas were delicious!! The Chuckwagon not so much. Get 3-4 - especially if you don't eat the crust.
Very casual . Small outside patio is cosy. Serve local beers . Tia Maria good, but watch out for spillage! Asian Chicken and Poblana were good. Apple with Everything was tasty.
The comfort food to end all comfort foods ! If you're craving flaky empenadas filled with sweet or savory concoctions , Marini's is your Shangri-La. Their green sauce is DIVINE, as is the Viva Zapata.
Underrated empanadas include the Chicken Pot Pie and the Lemon Curd Cheesecake among others. Don't forget the chimichurri sauce !
In all the years I have eaten at Marini's (all locations), I have never had a bad meal. Everything is outstanding.
My favorite is the guava and dulce de leche.
Chicken Florentine and ham and cheese is so good! Apple Gabriela for dessert , yum

Best empanadas
I was kind of disappointed, there was no pán de miga , c'mon!! It's an Argentinian restaurant . I didn't like the empanadas I tried at all. Too expensive . No wonder it was empty.
The tequeño appetizer is delicious! The empanadas here are very authentic! Maybe even more so than the ones in Venezuela! Don't be fooled by the fact it's in a gas station! - Andres Novoa
Great menu! Get there early on weekends for breakfast or you'll be waiting to order and find a good table. - Roni Tate
Some of the best pie in Houston. The pecan pie is amazing. The silk chocolate pie is very good, though some people find it a bit too rich (I don't!). - Fernando Covas
