Towards the end of September the sea lions return to feed on the Sacramento River. You can usually catch them in action at the confluence if the American & Sacramento River.

When the river is low go to the River Walk on the West Sacramento side of the river to see a sunken boat from the 1800's & old steel piers that used to support a slaughterhouse.

Lots of great fishing if you know where to go! Bring a local! 🎣

Don't do the river walk close to dusk, it's pretty sketchy (people).
