On Wednesdays at 2 pm, Owen the head brewer gives a free tour with samples. Since the brewery is only 167 sq ft, the tour is mostly a beer school and a great way to spend some time while in the OBX

This spot added the Full Moon Brewery in 2011. It offers three of its own beers , including one called The Lost Colony in honor of America's greatest mystery, which vanished from nearby Roanoke Island .

Food and beer were excellent, try the Lost Colony Ale ! Glad we stumbled upon this place! Very pet friendly also, provided water and dog treats made from the leftover brew mash , 5/5!

Wasn’t too keen on the drinks but the food was incredible. Get the cheesy crab pretzel and the French dip . The crab cake sandwich was also one of the best I’ve ever had!

What a gem of a brewery . Did a sampling of the 4 beers they had, brilliant. All British ingredients used for all 4 of the beers they had. The bartender was a really nice guy too

The crab bisque was a bit salty but it was also my first and hubby finally found a local beer that he enjoyed:) it's a win win

We discovered this brewery last week on vacation -- the pub area was great and the redhead bartender was fantastic at her job!

The Full Moon Cafe opened their craft Brewery in 2011. This "flight " of their home beers feature a "Lost Colony" amber ale , a light "Baltimore Blonde" lager and the "Charron Stout ."

Best brown ale I have had since a visit to England. Awesome burger and quesadilla too!

I love the seafood enchiladas . You can't go wrong with any of the Full Moon brews!

The beer selection

Closes at 8 on Saturdays and 4 on Sunday. Good beer (Lost Colony) but selection somewhat smaller than I hoped (3 breed). Service also lackluster.

Baked crab dip and crab bisque are awesome!

The burger is a must.
