Made out of yellow sandstone , located on a hill above the city , Umaid Bhavan Palace was one of the last great palaces to be built and the royal family of Jodhpur still occupies a section of it.
It's nice to see the nice cars, and a slice of the Palace - your ticket only allows you to see a small portion of the Palace , as a majority of it is a hotel , and another is still inhabited by the Raj.
Residing in the actual palace of the royal family of Jodhpur ensures you are not treated in any way less than a royal itself. It is probably considered as one of the best and beautiful palace hotels . Read more
Grandeuer and luxury is what defines this luxury hotel . Made of yellow golden sandstone in this golden city of Rajasthan . Vintage car rides, marbled square courts, finest brandy and a game of billiard Read more
The museum is great if one is interested in the old family snapshots of the current living Maharaja of Jodhpur who does happen to have a dreamy polo playing son who makes the photos worth a gander.
Umaid bhawan is royal, that's the only word i have to express the magnitude of this place...a must vist in jodhpur ... And i love the amul lassi they serve :p
Completely grand and majestic and don't miss taking a look at all the corridors, staircases and yellow stone architecture that's one of a kind!
Very friendly staff . Amazing dining experience. And the interiors? Royalty indeed ! A must visit if in Jodhpur.
Disappointing. 90% of the property is condoned off. 70% Taj and 20% as the Residence. You only get to see the museum which barely provides a glimpse into the place. You can see the place in 20 mins.
Man Tis place is such an experience.... Rajasthan is known for its hospitality but this place takes it 2 a whole new level ...
Its beautiful but a very short place is open to explore

Over the top amazing!

Love everything here. Making friends with peacocks
No place can be more beautiful than this...lovestruck!!
Indian Royalty in all its Glory!

The palace is well maintained, but not very much to see compared to other places in Rajasthan. You get a nice view of the palace from the vintage car museum. - Vansi
Don't be afraid to try local cuisine, Indian/Rajasthani: unlike in many hotel restaurants, the dishes are genuine & full of flavour! - Joanna Fraczek
A very well-taken care fort. Beautiful architecture and historic. Free audio guide is provided for every entrance. - Nabila Khalil
Looks surreal and it's in the walking distance from Mehrangarh Fort. - Milan Ranisavljevic
Amazing place ! So many ruins & nice garden ! Beware of some angry monkeys :p - Aditya Rajpurohit
