So you come at 8am when there aren't so many shoppers. But that's when every aisle is being re-stocked. So it's still Hell.
They mostly stock a basic selection of foods. They don’t bring in new products and are usually years behind the food trends. The store is outdated and small. Its barely walkable during peak hours.

Get used to seeing this face. The self checkouts were apparently coded by Stevie Wonder - they screw up all the time, constantly call for attendants, don't understand using your own bag, and just suck

If you live in Aspen, just go shop at the City Market in Basalt. Much better selection and no tourists .
According to the Geneva Convention you're not allowed to bring a prisoner of war here because it's considered torture. That's how awful this place is.

Avoid this place like the plague on Friday evenings or any other holiday/vacation period. So crowded !
The market itself was great. Jam packed, but square footage is at a premium in Aspen. The only downside was no plastic bags and 20 cents per paper bag. Stupid law for stupid Aspen.
