Not sure what all the fuss is about, the service here is incredible, great food, rooms, and wifi ! Best hotel I've been to in New Orleans!

Having a very good stay here, people are very friendly

Try the Sweet Car for some delicious treats. Right by Pete's Pub under the escalator.

One of the concierges was great. Georges, on the other hand (I may have the name slightly wrong) was not. Doesn't listen, talks over you, borderline rude.

Their free WiFi is crap. 512k! I ended up using my mobile hot spot to get service fast enough to work.

Friendly staff & central location make this a good choice. Will return.

Calm down. They have the wifis now. And my tv is new, albeit janky. But new.

They are upgrading their internet but only have wireless in the lobby and meeting rooms. Only brought my Kindle Fire so wired doesn't help me at all. Good service so far.

Unfortunately the walls are thin and I was woken up to my neighbors 5am alarm two days in a row. The first day no one was in the room and someone came up and turned it off (which was nice).

Spectacular property - first-class all the way BUT no free Internet access which is a no-no!

Great place to stay..valet was a little slow the first day.

ANALOG TV reception only. No Digital service!! Engineering says supposed to come in 2013. Shocking to not have Digital on this nice big HDTV.

Major renovations until October 2014, so it's very noisy .

Wifi is free but it's really slow. Food is not that great. Employees are unenthusiastic. Housekeeping hung my pajama pants on the bed frame.

Not a bad place to stay. Bed is to die for, so soft. Only bad thing was couldn't close heavy curtains. Too much light in room at night.

Can't believe this is an Intercontinental. Had to wait to check in until 6pm! No in-room wi-fi?! No room service menu in room either. OLD TV . Room is nice, for the year 1990. NOT worth the money.

There IS wifi here... Free for 512 k and a cost for higher bandwidth. Works fine.

Lousy and misleading. Renovations happened right above our room from 8a-8p 7 days a week. would have been fine if we were here for business & would missed all the noise & jack hammering. Valet tax bs!

Poor customer service. No wifi . The restaurants aren't open during the day on weekends. This hotel did not live up to what I expect from an Intercontinental.

Front desk manager says: "we didn't make a mistake." "What do you want me to do for you?" "There is nothing I can do." Charged two cards for the room and POS system can't fix it. Bad customer service.
