Michael’s is a must do in Taos. Loved the special chorizo , breakfast burrito...and green chili which was amazingly spicy and flavorful. There’s also a warmth and lively atmosphere .
Holy cow, you best be hungry. The breakfast enchilada with green chile is the perfect way to start a ten hour road trip back to Texas. Save some room for a sopapilla too!
Huevos Rancheros not so good! Definitely try the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and chocolate cream pie delish! Not so healthy, but definitely worth the extra calories! ;)
Great menu, fast service , friendly staff . Only bad thing is you have to walk by the fresh-baked donuts to get to your seat !
Eat here once and if you can, it will become a ritual stop when in Taos. Great chili and the bakery is always cranking out fantastic take homes.
Had both Spanish food , and a variety of pastries (including apple pie , pine cones , a long john) and all were incredible
Excellent spot for great NM dishes, try the cinnamon rolls . Go after the rush during a weekday if you not in to waiting for your table.
Wonderful tight knit staff and delicious food, pastries and milkshakes !

You're coffee will b never get cold or empty. There is no reason to walk away hungry or really Les than stuffed lots of food for a reasonable price.
Excellent food and service. Try stuffed sopapillas
Fantastic food, a local gem. Get the Chili "Christmas " red and green.
Recommend the indian taco .. very good! Lots of flavors, very mild flavorful green chili !
Try the Authentic Green Chile Bacon Cheeseburger -
Oh my gosh the apple fritters are the absolute best!!!
304 NORTH side of town . They don't say this anywhere, so the first 304 isn't where the restaurant is. Too bad they really don't number the buildings in town .
Breakfast is great - long wait
Breakfast burrito is ridiculous
The cinnamon crumb donuts are outstanding.
My favorite place to eat ever! I love everything here. I always have waffles for breakfast and take baked good to go!
Best local breakfast in town .
Generous portions . You get 3 pancakes on the meals.
Really good enchiladas and sandwiches too! Read more
bacon waffle .
AS many times as I have tried to like Michaels, its just not the place for my foodie palette.
Good if not a little overpriced.
Try the blue pinon pancakes !
NASTY!! Will never go back! Got sick!!

Green chili sirloin stew is spicy and delicious. Comes with yummy, fresh tortilla. - Melissa Hess
Beautiful architecture, great deals on art & jewelry because you're usually buying directly from the artist or their relative. The tours are very informative & give a perspective we lack in US history - Aspen Flowers
Some of the best espresso I've ever had. Ranks up there with Caffe Florian in Venice, Four Barrel in Mission District, San Francisco, and Houndstooth in Austin. - Robert Matney
