Pretty snooty host, but the food was really, really good, and the overall experience was very romantic . Make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the dock if you have to make a ferry !
A Grand Hotel Restaurant with Bavarian charm serving appetizers , entrees and desserts worthy of any fine restaurant experience.
Great restaurant in a dreamy environment! Great place for kids too because they have an old fashioned bowling lane next to the bar
Outstanding ambiance, food, service, all the things!
Ambiance, food, service, above and beyond it all!
The whitefish is amazing! Sit in the big cozy chairs by fireplace if visiting in fall.
Delicious food, wonderful ambiance and service. Bar , not so much.
The Pasta Pomodoro and the Weiner Schnitzel are both great entrée options!
The Pretzel Basket Appetizer is my favorite and a constant order at each visit... V = )
If you like Lamb then you should try their Coffee-Scented Colorado Lamb Loin.
Try the crab cake and short rib duo. Wonderful flavor!
The whitefish sandwich was good
Play the duck feather bowling in the back.
Great meal !!!
Excellent food-58 day aged NY strip, lovely salmon. Pleasant & well trained waitresses. Refreshing Mackinac Mule, cheerful bar staff. Great spinach/goat cheese salad. Nice views! - Christine Stiphany
Great falafel! The sweet potato fries are excellent as well. Some of the best and most reasonably priced food on the island. - Bjørn
Try the old fashioned here instead of the hotel. They know what they're doing. The fries were excellent, as is the view (especially if you like golf). - Teresa Molina
The French Dip, fish tacos, and sweet potato fries are good. I love the scenery. - Danielle Zwerg
We had the best service here. The food was very good. Get the White Bean Chili - if you are into chili. - Jerri McClenthen
Find the starry staircase in the middle of the 4th floor, have some drinks, listen to the piano player and check out the cool views of the lake, town, and Mackinac Bridge - Philip Smith
