Haven’t tried many gozitan ftiras , but I highly doubt there can be any better than a Maxokk special here! I even always take some frozen ones back to Malta !

The special pizza was a treat for the tastebuds. Great authentic flavours and the touch of rosemary was a refreshing twist. To top it off the price was also very reasonable. Fully recommend.

First rule, ALWAYS CALL IN ADVANCE! Pizzas usually take roughly 30 minutes and if there's anything you should order, it needs to be the Maxokk Special. It's honestly the greatest pizza I've ever had.

Old, traditional bakery which todays serves pizzas and ftiras . If you want to try the local food, this is the place to go. We stayed in the village of Nadur for 4 nights in a traditional farmhouse B&B

Ftiras are delicious and not at all greasy. The wait is about 30minutes, but you can grab a beer out of the bridge for while you wait.

Good, tasty and cheap . Big enough to share between two for a smaller lunch , or just one if very hungry.
