It is quite small and forest-theme driven comparing to other science museums in Finland (Oulu). But some attractions are unique and stunning - real trees felling machine, gun hunting simulator!
The view to the Ounasjoki from the staff coffee room is excellent! Also the view to the downstairs exhibition is stunning.
The entire building is made of wood - walk around to get the design. And try out the gift shop .
Check out Pilke Cafe every two weeks or so. Interesting forest-related subjects, discussion and free coffee !
