Definitely laid back , and some of us don't drive that well - but the island is not full of only retired people- we have a lot of young families moving here and just opened our first high school .

Love Marco Island. Great beaches . Slow paced life. Fantastic restaurants .

Try the Italian sub at the Italian Deli & Market at 247 Collier Blvd. N. One of the best subs I have ever had.

Try the Crazy Flamingo restaurant . Its inexpensive n good food. A local favorite!
