Have the janga soup on the roadside opposite the police station . Gardens are lovely to relax in, with the river running through.

Castleton is one of Jamaica 's free National Parks . As far as I can tell they have no official open/close time. There are always food vendors present. Remember not to remove any plants from the park !

Be sure to stop to look at the more than 25 varieties of palm trees , some of which are over 100 years old!
