A nice movie theatre with a pub overlooking the river.fish and chips is quite a big portion . You can share with your companion. The kids movies have an activity time before the start.
Ask for your wine in a plastic glass, take it into the cinena with you, and sit back and enjoy the movie like you were on your sofa at home. Veey civilised.
Amazing view from there, the cinema has a different feel where you think it's also a restaurant . Nice place

Great refurb - much nicer than the big chain cinema in York ! Nice seats for everyone!
They have brilliant snacks for during the film that you won't find in many cinemas .

cafe/bar does great fat chips with aïoli - & nice wine selection
No kids menu in the cafe , and asking for half portions from the main menu caused havoc. Not kid friendly .
