Do a consult prior to service. Ask the stylist about their previous experience. I’ve had my hair turned ashy green and my daughter had orange hair from not processing correctly.
As far as salon I would not suggest it. I had a few bad experiences with hair , it wasn’t just myself either. But good for makeup selection.
Make sure you are asking if what they are doing is additional. They will often add services on without telling you they are additional cost that at some salons do not cost extra, such as toning.
