2nd time up the gondola....still scary! LOL. Remember bug spray, there are biting black flies up there, but the view of Lake Placid is great. No bathrooms at top, 15 min ride to/from the top.

Take the gondola and look at the view ! It's amazing, but don't go too close to the edge.

Beautiful views from the top of the gondola in summer

We went in the summer, and though it had a nice view , it wasn't too exciting. There's nothing at the top but a small look out platform and a ton or flies and mosquitos! Not worth the expensive price.
