Despite being a restaurant in a hotel , this is actually one of the best places to eat in Belfast. I'm a fan of the lobster burger , which I suggest you follow with an Old Fashioned in the hotel bar .

Let your friends think you have a weak bladder by heading up to the bathrooms every five minutes to enjoy the comedy sketches they play through the speakers.

I love the Mal. Boutique style hotels at chain prices. The rooms are great, the breakfast is good and the bar is always very well stocked with local craft beer .

The rooms are small, but the breakfast and the food is great and also the location is amazing (though there is no view ). There was wifi so thats a plus for me.

I used to love this hotel until my husband got a lecture on how his burger should be cooked and right beside the couple who were dining beside us. Put me right off

Don't keep your door key card next to your mobile phone as it may wipe it meaning another trip back to reception for reprogramming

The Goliath Suite is the best suite I have stayed in for quite some time, really excellent

The building’s architecture is stunning. However the noisy road and lack of air conditioning disappoints. Really nice staff though!

Have breakfast , even if you feel like it may kill you to get out if that fabulous bed. Sleep after!

Second time I've stayed and starting to feel a bit tired and dated. Bar/restaurant service a bit slow.

Avoid restaurant . It's mediocre, SLOW, server was plain irritating 'sorry your potatoes have come when you've almost finished your main, but they're cooked to order'. What?

Try the blackberry kir royal. Yummy!

They've just done the brasserie out. Very swish.
