McChord is a great place to run. People leave you alone plus the route around the airstrip is 7.1-8.5 miles depending on Route planning.

Beautiful base, set in the woods. Lush green trees and lawns make this the most beautiful base I've been to!

Be sure to have a Decal on your car or you'll unfortunately be turned around to the visitors center for a pass, regardless of military ID. I thought this $250m program was going away.

We are attending this morning's change of command at McChord . We'll miss Col. Kilb - he was a great asset to the community and the base!!
