Sound and light show starts at 630pm and lasts for an hour. Ticket counter opens at 530pm. U get some time to walk around and click pix of the fort before the show begins. Be ready for the mosquitoes
I wanted to go there since I was a child, and I was able to visit last year and I am so happy to visit this historical place
Glorious past of Golconda is narrated effectively with matchless Sound & Light effects at the Fort. It takes you right back in time, when Golconda was full of life, glory & grandeur.
Good history and fascinating acoustics . Watch the evening light show (daily) but make sure you are fully guarded against a swarm of mosquitoes
Wear good hiking shoes or running shoes because you do a lot of climbing and walking. Bring a bunch of water and try to take a break under any shade you can find.
Avoid going if it's too sunny outside. Great place to spend a couple of hours if the weather is good
SWARMS of mosquitoes attack once sun goes down. Beautiful local hangout spot ; great city views
Took guided tour . Nice place and architecture given the period it was built. Sad thing is ppl throw their trash anywhere they want even though there are trash bins. Be respectful. This is history.
Really impressive views from this massive fort. Get a good guide or book . Skip the light and sound show.
Avoid manual guides . Take the GPS aided video guide by AP tourism . These guys are located in a hard to find corner 100 mtr after ticket counter.
Skip the sound and light show , it's uninteresting and the mosquitoes have a field day!
Reserve at least a couple of hours to get to the top!
One of the excellent architecture from history, don't forget to carry a water bottle.
Very good monument . A half day tour with a bit if exercise. It's a pride of hyderabad
