If you are feeling fit go for the hike to the top of Guadalupe Peak and be at the highest point in Texas .
Not a great place for a day trip (unless you've been b4). Why? Because this area is huge, beautiful & a must hike !! Gorgeous park .
This is not in Utah! It's in Texas !
You won't see anything interesting, except El Capitan, unless you hike. It's very interesting ecologically. - RC
