Alan was our bartender but he was much more like a host who had such an enthusiasm for the diversity of craft beer and sharing the joy that comes with it. So much good stuff on draft and bottles.
The soup and sandwich lunch combo is fantastic. Just the right size, just the right price. Add a pint to it, and it's damn near perfect.
Good portions and decent beer selection . Go for the local beer from Galway Bay Brewery as this used to be the old brewery site.

The house beers are a little on the 'home brew ' side when it comes to quality, however if you buy ten you get one free. Loyalty card avail at bar . Food is good.

Good experience in past but avoid on a Sunday - waited 15 mins for a menu then grabbed one ourselves! Had to ask to be served. Some ppl walked out. Full of kids!! Is the place a creche!? Very baf
