Cadillac Mountain is a mountain Bar Harbor located in United States.
Cadillac Summit Rd Bar Harbor , ME 04609 United States
The actual peak elevation of the summit is down the gravel road behind the gift shop . Not showy, just a bronze disk on a rock to the right as the gravel path becomes a trail .
The highest point on the eastern seaboard! Tons of different ways to scale it, but we enjoyed the Western Mountain trail (although tough with quite a few scramble bits!)
The view up here is extraordinary, simply a must visit place for friends, families and photographers , that visit the States ! Also great for hicking if you bring picknick and good shors along with you!
Get here early. Parking can get tough. Walk the entire top of the mountain because no view is the same. A must during your visit.
Catch a sunset or sunrise . You can drive to the top and hike down a bit to catch the beautiful views of the park . Plenty of parking on top. Really a gem.
Great sights on clear days but still worth the trip on cloudy days to see the visible sights.
Get their for the sunrise ! It takes 15 minutes by car from the visitors center so plan accordingly. You can hike it or drive all the way up
best place to see the sunrise in Acadia national park . plz go early as parking is limited and there will be lot of folks there to get the best shot !!
Tallest mountain on the East Coast. Tons of tourists , but you can sneak away to snap a nice picture.
Beautiful view . Drive up and short walk to the Vista.
Sunrise , sunset , always make sure you're camera is with you. Head up on a full moon night and walk the loop, it's quite an experience.
Just before the top where parking is impossible, there is an area that could hold a few cars (don't think it's an official stop) and has stupendous views .
Sunrise here was breathtaking. However, it's freezing cold. Like ice. Layer up as much as possible. Think you have enough layers? Add five more.
You have to watch the sunset from the top. It's life changing.
You get a great view of Bar Harbor, Bar Island and the surrounding islands , definitely worth a visit
So beautiful and scenic . Would love to go again . ????
Views and hiking amazing! Love it here!
Come here early to see the sunrise ! You'll be the first in America to see it.
Plan on getting here at least an hour before sunrise ! In the summer it gets busy, and fast!
Great hike , lots of tourists at the top though.
Great place to watch the sun rise . Dress warmly. When the wind is blowing it is very cold.
Don't bother trying to watch the sunset .... Mob scene. But it is the most beautiful thing ever!
Stunning sunset views
Gorgeous views . Great hikes . Tight on parking .
The view is fantastic, if you can catch it without fog.
Check out the Cadillac Facebook page for Sunrise and Sunset times as well as Tides for Bar Harbor, Maine
Breathtaking views !
The hike is easy with beautiful views , plan to spend at least 2 hrs here.
Bike up before sunrise to beat the crowds and get a workout
Go off trail a bit to enjoy a quieter experience.
The view is great, if you can avoid the fog!
Awesome sun rise ! 4:52 am 07/01/2012
Go early in the morning, there are a lot less people!
Pretty much a baby mountain compared to Rocky Mountains
The most beautiful sunset to watch. Get there a bit early to find a good spot!
Amazing views
Views are amazing
A-MAZING SUNSETS!!!!!
You MUST catch sunrise here!
If it's foggy, wait an hour or two. Island weather is very changeable.
If it's a foggy day don't bother coming up. U won't be able to see 15 feet in front of u. Wait till it's sunny and clear.
My favorite place on earth!
At Acadia National Park !
Come at dawn and be the first person in the US to see the sunrise !
There are days where you will never able to catch the sun even after one hour of predicted sun raise time
Awesome hike !!????
Beautiful sunset .
Drove up but got no view - fag was too dense.
Bring a jacket . A big, big jacket .
There's a venue at the summit. This one should be ignored.
Great views of the entire harbor and surrounding islands. - Meg
Absolutely fantastic intermediate hike. Be aware of ice and strong winds during the winter. - Shira C.
Impossible not to fall in love with nature in this place which is also great for bird or fall photography or simply to relax or visit with family! Perfect to do some hicking too and really worth it! - Daniel Bachmann
