It's a great place to see and experience some American history. Also if you are traveling across country it's a good place to get out and walk. Has beautiful forest scenery and a really cool well .
Lincoln was born at the home on Feb 12, 1809. A granite-and-marble Beaux Art memorial stands at the spot, containing a "symbolic" birth cabin . The memorial was dedicated in 1911 by President Taft.
Awesome park with great wheelchair accessibility , certainly a must see!
The 56 steps leading up to the memorial building represent the 56 years of Lincoln 's life.
Take a picture next to the penny behind the house located on the well .
