Don't come here - it's one of the best pubs I've ever been to with great food, beer and a cozy warm atmosphere that will be ruined if too many people find out about it.
Great food, dog friendly with bowls and hose available. Great local walks to work up an appetite, on the sandstone trail .
The steak and ale pie is excellent! Shame about the mustard mash potatoes , they just don't really work with it.
On a non-rainy day, take a seat in the back garden and enjoy the views of the countryside.
