Here, 4,000m above sea level, I succumbed to acute mountain sickness unaware. AMS is not a matter of mind over body. Neither is it a case of if you do not mind it does not matter.
Climbing it for sunset gives you better views but you have to be lucky with the weather. If you go in the morning, leave very early so you can beat the crowd a bit. - Simon Opsomer
