What a great museum . The permanent exhibit was great, but the temporary exhibit on Red and cochineal was remarkable. A must stop when in Santa Fe

This seems like a great place to smoke a bit and spend some hours getting lost in the maze-like girard gallery collection of thousands of small objects from around the world.

Wonder pieces of folk art . Especially the huge Mexican village exhibit . Buy the New Mexico museum pass for entry into several museums . Worth the $25.

What an odd hodgepodge and cluster of a museum , you can spend hours here and learn somethings and waste a lot of time . Kind of like the visual personification of the internet.
