Karlsruhe's main Christmas market is quite large and lively, and very centrally located. There's also a kids' wonderland operating next to it. The city has been voted Germany's Best Christmas City - Ilias Chantzakos

Always good for sale items. Recently hosts a frozen yoghurt stall where they sell lactose free or soy portions. Also the organic bakeries are good. Try spelt pretzels! - Gwenny Hubert
