On a nice day you can walk out on the breakwater. On a rainy day you can watch the storm and surfers trying to catch a wave.
There is nowhere better to watch the sun go down than Sunset Point! Definitely a Marquette must see!!

Drive around to the far side of the island on a stormy day to watch the surf boarders and take in a bit of Lake Superiors's awesome-ness.
So much to explore with countless trails and dramatically different views throughout the Park !
Sit on the break wall at night, and jump off black rocks !
Wear shoes if you rock scramble out to the lighthouse . No flip flops will do!
Beautiful area. Freezing cold water. Very relaxing just looking at the ships in the distance.
you can catch the sunset here, but I would not drive out of my ways to come here
