Amazing views from the top, and you can literally touch the peak of Mount Hood ! It gets quite cold so bring a jacket . The bar was a nice place to grab a few drinks and admire the views .

Its amazing place you need to walk around and look the mountains . If you travel to Portland you must go to here. They have a buffet lunch until 2.30pm.

We went up to the lounge on the top floor. The fondue was a highlight. We added a bratwurst and ended up fighting over the last of it. They have amazing boozy hot chocolates too!

Not much in the way of black diamonds. Sno-cat to Palmer runs on the weekends till 2 but it stops accepting people in the line at 1. Get to the loading point early if you want to ride the diamonds.

The outdoor establishing shots of the Overlook Hotel in the "The Shining" are of the Timberline. They asked that the room of horror change from 217 to 237, for fear that no one would stay in 217.
