Amazing views from the top, and you can literally touch the peak of Mount Hood ! It gets quite cold so bring a jacket . The bar was a nice place to grab a few drinks and admire the views .

Its amazing place you need to walk around and look the mountains . If you travel to Portland you must go to here. They have a buffet lunch until 2.30pm.

We went up to the lounge on the top floor. The fondue was a highlight. We added a bratwurst and ended up fighting over the last of it. They have amazing boozy hot chocolates too!

Stop at the Ram's Head Bar after a hike and enjoy lovely views of Mt . Hood while sipping a delicious Snow-Cap Dream World Famous Hot Chocolate .

Interiors are very nice, it’s super fun to see people coming back from a ski session.

Stanley Kubrick’s movie adaptation used this family-friendly ski resort in Mt. Hood as the exterior of the terrifying Overlook Hotel

Not much in the way of black diamonds. Sno-cat to Palmer runs on the weekends till 2 but it stops accepting people in the line at 1. Get to the loading point early if you want to ride the diamonds.

Great time here. Gorgeous mountain . Gorgeous views . The film , the Shining was shot here (the Overlook Hotel = Timberline Lodge).

Take the time to walk around and check out the architecture , then enjoy an excellent but pricey lunch . Redrum !

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet while enjoying the view of Mt . Jefferson in the distance. I recommend it!

Not to be missed when you are in the Portland, OR area. Time it so you can enjoy the lunch buffet . Very good food.
